Lost Words: Beyond the Page is developed by Sketchbook Games ( List of games developed by Sketchbook Games) and launched on April 6th, 2021 on Xbox and a separate stack for Windows. With the 4 - 5 hour completion time, I do recommend anyone to at least experience it once. Due to this, there is not much variety in gameplay and can thus become stale for some. The game is definitely not hard as there is a heavy focus on storytelling. Most of the game is narrated by Izzy, voiced by Sidonie Maria Šakālis, which provided a nice experience to the game. Personally, I enjoyed playing this game, it was a relaxing game with a nice story.
We also see how they impact the storytelling of the fantasy world, which is about a young girl that is trying to save her village. In Izzy's story, we experience through her diary, how a young girl deals with emotional events. Due to this, the game has two storylines, one of Izzy and one of the fantasy world. Izzy wants to be a writer when she is older, and she is currently working on her very own fantasy story. She's a very creative girl who likes to paint, write and spent time with her grandmother (Gran). Lost Words: Beyond the Page is about a young girl named Izzy.
